Fatherhood
Parenthood is such an all-encompassing experience that it inevitably influences how you live and work as an artist. I have taken the freedom to spend as much time as possible with my little daughter, alongside my work as a vegetarian chef. It is a challenge, especially when you can not stop creating.
When possible, I made small drawings, like I used to do before art school, only in art school I started building installations, working with performance and dining experiences, and developing photograms. These five small drawings about the early days of parenthood turn out to be primarily an ode to fatherhood.
